PepsiCo's Frito-Lay North America division and Activision Publishing have teamed up for a promotion for the video game “Skylanders Spyro’s Adventures.”
The promotion, which started Sunday and will continue through Nov. 2, gives fans a free Skylanders Sidekick figure with the purchase of specially marked Frito-Lay Multipack variety packs.
“Skylanders Spyro's Adventure” is a cross-platform gaming experience that allows players to bring their action figures to life. Featuring more than 30 collectible characters, including the new Skylanders Sidekicks who, when activated through the gaming console, serve as sidekicks to the game’s main characters.
A sequel to “Skylanders Spyro's Adventure,” called “Skylanders Giants,” is currently in development and planned for release later this year.
