Sundown Adventureland places £250,000 order for playground
The UK’s first Angry Birds theme park will open at the end of summer in Retford, Nottinghamshire.
It will open in Sundown Adventureland, and feature animal spring riders, swings, sandpits, climbing towers, slides and more based on Rovio’s hugely popular mobile game series.
Sundown Adventureland has placed a £250,000 order for the park with playground equipment manufacturer Lappset Group.
Sundown’s park manager Paul Tomlinson said: “We were very keen to have an Angry Birds Activity Park at Sundown as the brand is so well known throughout the world. It’s currently one of the most downloaded games and appeals to all ages – something that was very important for us as although the park is designed for under 10s, we are keen to welcome families."Fonte: Licensing.Biz
