V&A Enterprises, eOne and Redan among the big winners at Licensing Excellence Awards.
A number of UK companies walked away with accolades from the LIMA Licensing Excellence Awards last night in Las Vegas.
The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A Enterprises) picked up the prize for Best Art and Design Programme of the Year; Peppa Pig from eOne and Astley Baker Davies was awarded the Best Film, Television, Celebrity or Entertainment Programme of the Year; while Redan Publishing walked away with the Best Film, Television, Celebrity or Entertainment Licensee of the Year - Hard Goods for its Peppa Pig/Fun to Learn and Bag-O-Fun magazines.
Elsewhere, Rovio's Angry Birds scored wins in three categories - Character or Toy Brand, Overall Best Licensed Programme and Best Character or Toy Brand Licensee (Hard Goods) for Commonwealth Toy & Novelty.
Walgreens was named Best Retailer of the Year for The Biggest Loser; Best Licensed Promotion of the Year went to Hello Kitty Beauty at Sephora and MAC Wonder Woman Collection by DC Comics/WBCP.
NBA was Best Sports Programme, while Topps picked up the Best Sports Licensee of the Year (Hard Goods) for Indian Premier League Cricket Attax TCG).

"It is particularly gratifying to see classic brands sharing the spotlight with newer favourites."
