SCHOOLBOY Sam Beards is so obsessed with Angry Birds he has built his own real-life version.
The 12-year-old budding engineer uses a compressed air cannon to fling the creatures up to a half-a-kilometre at 500mph, which you can see in our hilarious video below.
Angry Birds - slung against their enemy, the pigs - is one of the world's most popular apps now being downloaded on iPods and smart phones.
But Sam wanted to go one better - decorating pumpkins to look like the birds and using barrels stacked on hay bales to represent the farmyards animals.
Sam said: "It's great fun, and beats the internet version by a mile. Depending on the size of the pumpkin, we can get them to fly 500 metres.
